After the third round of betting, one more card is dealt to the middle. This is called the river.
Once all four rounds of betting have taken place, the showdown starts. This involves each player showing their hand which is made up of the two cards in their hand and three of the face up cards on the table. The best hand wins the pot accumulated during that hand. If all five cards on the table are the best hand, the players evenly share the pot.
